It looks like Dodge is listening to what people want and actually doing it. Not just with the SRT-4, factoy 20's on pickups, ability to easily run 35" meats, Nice exhaust like on my 03, No clam shell rear doors, Rear drive V8's coming back? I think Dodge is doing more than any other of the big 3. What I don't understand is why Ford is so damn popular even with the stuff Dodge has. For the price of a 170hp SVT Focus you can have yourself a much faster SRT-4. Not to mention a better looking car.

im a dodge boy for life! always will love dodge. Ford sucks, piss on all there crappyu cars and trucks.... Im proud to say i havent had any major problems with my neon. a few small repairs, thats it, excepot transmission, my fault on that one!

Josh, I think Ford is actually realizing they are getting beat on the SVT Focus....they are no longer producing the SVT Focus after the 2004 model year. They are actually suspending the entire SVT line after the 2004 model year but the Lightning and Cobra will return in 2006.

rumor has it that ford is reconfiguring the svt line, and the the svt focus that comes out in 06 will be the Eurospec focus rs awd turbocharged rally rocket. it was supposed to be the original svt focus but i guess they didn't think it was going to fly, idk i guess ford missed the boat on that one. i'll see if i can find some links

Yeah just thing Kas, if Ford had done it before the WRX and EVO hit the markets....think of how much MORE money Ford would have made rather then the lame Focus' that they make now are bringing in.
Last I heard Ford was ditching the Focus SVT all together and focusing completely on the Cobra and Lightning which are BOTH going to be all new for 2006 since their will be no SVT lineup for 2005. Their big delima now is weather or not to use the Shelby inspired Cobra as the '06 SVT Cobra or base it of the new Cobra body of '05........decisions decisions.

Yeah I've heard about a Cosworth Focus AWD turbocharged EVO-eatter in the works. No word if it's gonna make production yet. All I know is the European Spec Ford Focus RS- the turbocharged Focus that makes 200-whp and 248 lb-ft of torque at the wheels is only FWD and it's steep price of over 30,000 pounds (Like $35,000 in US) means it isn't selling that good.
