I ordered on 3/28 & dealer now says to arrive on May 28th?
First they said 5/13 then they said 5/20 & now they say 28th.
I have feeling it was damaged in transit?
Damn when I ordered my BMW it only took 6 weeks accross the ocean.
Dodge is made in US and surely there is no mad rush in orders to support 8 weeks?

Depends on the equipment on your car. If there are material restrictions - meaning a part needed to build your car is on backorder from the supplier - it can take about two months for a factory order to be filled, or even longer (though rarely much longer).
Is your car particularly "loaded" with options? Sometimes the better equipped cars take longer, because fewer of them are built to begin with (which creates a scheduling issue) and because there is a higher probability of something needed for the car being in short supply.
In any case I hope this info helps, and I can assure you the car will be worth the wait!

Thing is my car went into production on 4/24 completed on May 9th.
Sat in Ohio for long time not a clue why?
Now sitting in Buffalo, NY for some time & not a clue why?
What pisses me off is my dealer is only 1 hr. 15 mins. away :bawl:

Well I had a similiar thing happen with my R/T. I ordered it Feb. 25th, estimated delivery was April 25th. It ended up being built by March 15th and I was supposed to get it within about 10 days. Well 5 days go by and I wanted to find out about trading in my sister's car towards mine as she was taking in my old car. I asked about my car as well and he said it was somewhere between Michigan and NY. So another week goes by and my dealer calls me and tells me that the car is still in Michigan? WTF, So a week goes by the car arrives in NJ at one of Chryslers depots or whatever. Any ways he said I'll be driving that car within a week. Well a week goes by and I don't hear from them. So I stop in and they said that Chrysler had put a hold on all vehicles shipping to my dealer because they had just gotten a large shipment of cars for the lot. So they removed my hold and I got the car the next Tuesday.
So my story is pretty much the same runaround that your getting. Hope your car comes soon. I had also worried about my car being damaged that it was taking so long to get after it was built.

Sounds more like a transportation issue at this point. Transportation is a problem for Chrysler, and other automakers as well. There are only a couple major carriers and one of those filed for bankruptcy not long ago. Fewer transport trucks running means new vehicles will often sit in holding yards a lot longer than they used to.
Your car sounds like it's going to be really nice. Can't wait to see some pics!:)

Finally!
Car came in today only took 2 months & 2 days.
What a freaking mess!
I originally ordered "Silver Steel Metallic" and changed it week later to Black.
Order was accepted for change of color. Guess what no Black I got Silver!
To top it off I ordred a R/T AWD which should include rear spoiler?
Guess what no spoiler says on my sticker deleted because of Day Time Running Lights.
As long as I live I will never know what one has to do with the other?
So because I ordered $40 DRL's I now have to pay $500.00 for rear spoiler?
Now some good news I suppose?
TV is running ad for 0% for qualified buyers + $500.00 cash.
I got the 0% loan with no problem but got run around for the $500.00.
My dealer said it's one or the other 0% loan or $500.00 cash not both.
I stuck to my guns & said TV ad said both which it did!
I left dealer today only to get a call back from dealer that they called Dodge.
They found out I was right & TV ad is wrong. So they honored the $500.00 to.
My guess is the ad for TV will be pulled & corrected?
I pick up my car tomorrow @ 4:00 PM.
Kind of glad it came in with Silver as it goes unreal with dark/light gray leather!
Photos to follow in couple days!
Update: I see on Dodge site option to delete spoiler.
So person that ordered my car messed up or Dodge did?
I plan to get this straight & surely not paying 1 dime to add spoiler.

Sounds like salesman screwed up. I would demand spoiler for the original price that you ordered it with. Let them bite the bullet since it was them that screwed up.

I agree! You should have a purchase order, which is a contract for
both sides. Let us know.

Finally got my car today May 30th.
All I can say is it was well worth the wait!
My dealer worked with me far as spoiler.
Dealer cost: $348.00
Paint & labor $228.00.
I got the spoiler for $348.00 no charge for labor or paint.
They did honor the $500.00 cash even though tv ad was wrong.
Got 0% on loan although I only financed $9700. Still $850.00 savings 36 months.
