Marketing hype... not really news...
BUT... I sure hope (and believe it will) that this new 6.7 will suffer from very few "new product syndromes". There are sure to be a few, but I was pretty nervous about a first year motor... that's why I "settled" for the ol 5.9.
I would love to have gotten the 6 speed auto though... I've heard that it is a great trany, but hopefully my 48RE will hold up as well.
I think Cummins makes a great diesel, but I'd like to see a few 6.7's with a couple hundred thousand miles on'em before I am comfortable.
At least Ford still can't make a diesel that is worth a crap (unless the operator goes for the Cummins or Cat).

I think the engine will not bee a problem it's just a bigger version of what we have. The emissions stuff is going to be what causes problems if they do occur. I don't like particulated filter in the exhaust and it has already caused Ford issues. I'd like to see high miles and what that thing does.
