Hi,
Before I will replace my PCM I was wondering if some one in group have any suggestions
My car Dodge Grand Caravan 1996 , 3.3L with 100K no longer run well. After engine light lit, I checked error code and got error code 43. With that in mind I check and have noticed no high-voltage is being delivered to spark plugs at coil that is connected to cyl. 2 and 5. So my car only runs on 4 cylinders.
I have checked cables connected to PCM from ignition coil, spark plugs and spark’s cables. It appeared to me ignition coil was broken, so I replaced it with new one, unfortunately this did not help.
Since I don’t have any equipment to perform other tests my next step will be replacement of PCM (pwertrain control module).
Does any one have any suggestions what else I could check or test to see if I can avoid replacement of PCM. As well I am wondering if there could be something else wrong that will damage my new PCM??
In advance any suggestions are appreciated.
Thank you
