I bought a Sony CD Player for my 97 Caravan. I also bought the wiring harness connectors and used them. The CD player works great but no AM\FM just static. What am I missing?

Is the antenna cable plugged in tightly into the back of the radio ? Thats the only thing it could be , otherwise you have a faulty radio right out of the box . Of course read the manual for the thing , the aftermarket radios are so complex now it takes genius to figure out how to do simple stuff .

I am embarrassed to admit it was not only loose, but completely out. Thank You Vipergg for the suggestion my wife now has AM\FM and CD audio.
