I need to cycle my AC compressor on our 99 caravan 3.3 and the book I have says to jump the low pressure switch. I have looked and looked but I can not seem to locate the switch.
Any help of where it's located. Thanks Much.

I'm not sure where it is on the 99, but if you carefully follow the A/C hoses under the hood, you'll find it on the suction side of the system. It will be hard to miss.
Make sure you don't jumper it for too long. If you run the compressor without enough refrigerant charge, you will starve it of oil and it will fail.

Rick thanks for the reply I have traced the low side back to the firewall and it stops there but still no low pressure switch? Any other ideas how to cycle the clutch on a 99 3.3 AC compressor?
Thanks for any Ideas :help:

Sorry, I'm just not familiar with the 99 Caravans specifically b/c I have an 01 T&C, maybe someone else can chime in.
On my 99 Durango, it's on one of the lines near the expansion valve.
It may be time for an alldatadiy subscription for your vehicle -- that will tell you where everything is.

The switch is actually called the A/C pressure transducer and my book shows it on the high pressure (liquid) line next to the alternator.

Mine has 3 prongs. What gets jumped to what.
I have a 1998 GC and mine is at the firewall. It is the only harness plugged into the system.
