New '06 Viper, 81 miles on the clock. stored 10 weeks. Appears to have plenty of juice, but won't crank over. Sounds somewhat like a solenoid click when I attempt to start. Battery is accessible in trunk (tight garage). I'm going to try to jump start from there connecting to donner vehicle last at negative away from battery. Any ideas if a jump doesn't do the trick. It's a brand new vehicle and only driven to the garage until the weather cleared. Hard to believe the battery went south in just 10 weeks, or couldn't hold it's charge that long.

With all the computers on todays cars 10 weeks is enough time to drain the battery. Who knows how long it was sitting before you got it. Hope thats all it is.

Thats a lot of motor to crank over. The compession on 10 cylinders doesnt help either. Hook the Neg. up first to reduce sparking. It's gotta be the battery!

My dads s2000 will go dead in a week when it sits for the winter...so usually he just disconnects the battery cable. Alot of his draining so fast has to do with his alarm.

You need to get one of those trickle chargers for extended periods like that. Will save you a lot of hassle. Best of luck.
