I have a 98 caravan 3.3l with obd code p1491 ( rad fan circuit) mil is on. I replaced the relay and the fan comes on with a/c and at idle after heat up but I'm sure the van is running way too hot and the mil wont reset. I checked the temp sensor as described in haynes and its ok. 13kohms cold 800ohms hot, any ideas thx

what makes you think its running to hot, what is the temp gauge reading?

good question. temp gauge is normal (middle) it just seems to be running way hotter than normal. I disconnected the battery to reset the mil and changed the thermostat, its been ok for the past 2 days and mil has stayed off. thx
