Save yourself a bunch of money, go buy a 1st gen Neon for around $2500, buy a Turbo kit, and do a lil motor work all for under the $20K your gonna spend for an SRT-4 and smoke SRT-4's like they are nothing

Tuner,

It seems to me that most of the people that want an SRT-4 are looking for much more than a rocket-ride.

I know that you are probably the most knowledgable person, here, with regard to performance tuning Neons.

So, rather than continuing to tell people not to buy an SRT-4 and buy a 1st-gen Neon, turbo kit, etc. you could probably consult with these people on how to add even more performance, style, etc. to their SRT-4's.

Sure, Mopar already has performance upgrade kits available for the SRT-4, but we all know that aftermarket tuners provide more bang-for-your-buck parts, accessories, services, etc.

It seems to me that you don't realize a potential tuner market, here, that you could tap with your expertise. The SRT-4 WILL sell very well. Why not take advantage of the momentum that is gaining, jump aboard, and reap some rewards.

As you know, it's not about WHO you know in the performance world, but rather WHAT you know that separates the enthusiasts from the true "Tuners".

BFARAM47 yeah your right, I just don't like the newer Neons becuase I HATE 4drs and they no longer make a 2dr, thats MY reason for not like the SRT-4. But it,s just my reasoning that I bought my Origional 98 Neon R/T for $1300 from a freind and $14,000 later that thing was running like a striped ape.

But yeah there is alot of potential in the SRT-4 but it really needs alot of work. The Turbo 2.4 is a great motor to work off of and I wouldn't mind getting my hands on one. But the car itself handle pretty bad, I beat one in my Neon at an an SCCA Solo event and damn near beat him in my Saturn I had at the time that wasn't even a turbo car, he only beat me in my Saturn by .4 seconds. Thats why I say buy a base Neon and do it better.

Yeah I can help anyone really work over an SRT-4 and if someone wants help I will be first to do it, I was just exspressing my thoughts and Opinions
