Splash/Dirt Shield

After getting tired of changing my CAI filter after heavy rain (from wetness) or a lot of dirt flying up underneath the car, I decided to custom make an extended shield in the air filter area. Check it out:

I also sealed off the area under the headlights (where water drips down) and around the splash guard in the wheel well. It hasn't rained since I've done this so I don't know yet how effective it is. Whatcha think?

Good luck, hope it works! What'd you use, just a piece of sheet metal?

Yes. Just cut to fit, dremel out the holes, slide the bolts in and tighten. Done.
