I have an a pretty good understanding of car repair. How easy is to change the inner tie-rod ends yourself on a '93 Dodge Intrepid? Do anyone have in step-by-step illustrations of the procedures? If no illustrations then written will do.

they are a bitch to replace. I work at NTB and we had one in the other day, and it took over 2hrs to replace the innner tie rods even with all the proper tools. I reccomend you bring it to a shop to save yourself the hassle and headache. Should run ya about $100-$150 for the tie rod and install.

Thanks for your input. I did price the install at 3 shops last week and it ranged from $150-$325. Of course I'm going to take the $150 job.
