I just came back to dodge after 4 years in a chevy. I bought a 2007 quad cab and took it in the woods today for the first time. I rolled every rock in the road wiht the front suspenstion box. I would like to put bigger tire on it but not sure what I can get away with.

3in body lift and the 2in front "leveling kit" can clear 33's

First, I was wondering about the stock set up? Can I go bigger than 265/70R16 OR 265/75R16. Narrower but bigger diameter?
I was also thinking of a 2 in leaveler but thought it would negate the waranty, that would be bad, thoughts?

For them to void the warranty they would have to prove that the leveling kit did it. I hope somebody makes a damn lift soon, I agree with these things being too low.

Any idea if I can run 265/75r16's without rubbing?

265/75/16 can only be run with the leveling kit, and it still rubs very slightly. I think 31 is the biggest you can go with the stock set up. Someone will be posting the miata garage tire thing and it will be a huge help.

How does you buggy handle with the TM leveling kit. Is there much difference offroad or with a bedload???????

The front suspension is the lowest place on the truck 7.9'' so the level lift will make that 9.9'' which isn't too bad. Add some 32'' tires and you're up to 10.4''. Then your lowest point is going to be your rear diff at 8.1''. I't will probably never be as good as most off road but you can make it a little better. I'm going to put 1.5'' blocks in the back too to get the low slung gas tank higher and try to prevent it from getting torn off.

Here's the tire calculator I use. It will tell you size differences, speedometer differences etc.
I am considering Goodyear Wrangler AT/S 265/70R16s or the narrower but about same diameter 245/75R16. They run 30.6 & 30.5 inches respectively. Any experences wiht these or thoughts on which may be best.

The wrangler AT/S 265/70R16s came stock on mine. They are a decent tire but nothing to write home about. Once they wear down a little more I'm going to replace them with more agressive 265/75R16s.

The Firestone Destination A/T has been a great tire for me. I have driven it in snow, rain, clear, and everything in between and it has not let me down. In Tennesee, you have to be ready for anything, and this tire has been everything I could ask for.

Here in Maine we have a a lot of snow and less dry pavement. When the snow is gone the mud is here. I think the narrower 245/75r16 wouly cut throught deep snow mud better ???

Hey everyone Im new. Im running the trailmaster 2" leveling kit, and 2" blocks in the rear. I also have 265/75-r16 tires. No rub on this setup, at least not at any flex ive ever experienced but I only trail, never anything serious.

Ok, here are 3 pis of the lift. I know there kinda stalkerish but I was trying to get a "from the road" perspective. lol This is the trailmaster leveling kit, with 2" blocks. The results rake is a tad but higher then stock, but not to much, and worth the lift.
