power steering pump

Hello I bought a new power steering pump . I was wondering how to get the pulley off . Do i need a special kind of puller ? Does anyone have a diagam or picture of how the power steering brackets go on a 73 318 engine? Thanks again.

Sorry I don't have a diagram, but yes you need a puller to get the pulley off. There is a specific puller for that job. Your parts house should have the tool available to rent. First pic is the installer and the second is the puller.

You can buy a 'cheapo' puller (Yeah, made in China, but how many times are you gonna use it? :D ) at Harbor Freight for about $10-15.00 ... At least that's what they cost when I bought mine about 5 years ago...
