I wouldn't call that new. I would call it abused and/or not maintained.
:IDEA: This is why removing block drains during a coolant flush necessary.

Well, my new-to-me engine then :) Yeah I think I'm gonna pop all the plugs out and spray it out w/ the hose and cleaner.

Time to knock all the freeze plugs out use a pressure washer. I have taken bare blocks to the quarter car wash and use that. Oh,oh they take more than one quarter now though. :gr_patrio
