Hey guys, Ive been after the owner of this trk for about a yr now. Its an 87 power ram, one owner, 73K original, short bed, workhorse 318 w/ auto, clean as a pin.
Hes not really looking to sell, but I`m bugging him, and hes weakening somewhat. The KBB value is about $2800., thats in excellent condition, but dont think hed budge for less that twice that amount. Which, I just may be willing to pay to get this thing. Not sure of the trans, didnt look under it, but this thing is real clean. Pics below, what do ya`ll think?? (maybe im getting crazy in my old age??)

i have the same truck almost but mines a ram... everything is the same as that one but mine has a fresh paint job and non-stock rims and bigger tires i am looking to sell it just let me know if your interested.

You always pay more for what you want just be sure its what you want.
I looked for years (~4) for a clean low mile short box power ram. I failed and bought a Ford of all things. :WHT:
They are few and far between.

Ahhh, well, it's your money, but if he's asking 4-5k, no way man. That's a crazy price. $2800 is what it's worth, if it's immaculate. 3k max. There's plenty of nice ones out there for less, just have to look and maybe travel a bit.

I'm kinda' going with Speed on this one, 5-6k is a little nuts, but hey... If you're willing to spend the $$ and it doesn't matter to you....

Thanks for all the good advice guys........Yeah, Bherder, thats me standing next to the truck......The owner is kinda wavering, with gas getting up as high as it is around here, yesterday, $2.89 per gall, reg.,,, Hes talking bout maybe getting a dak, with a smaller engine, but hes real insistent on getting top dollar for his truck.....
No, didnt look at the floorboards. If he gets serious bout selling it, I`ll check it out real close.....I have an 87 Ram thats real good yet, but I need a 4X4 around these parts, and my 88 power ram 50 seems to be dieing a slow death little at a time. I keep her going, but would really like to find another mid 80`s dodge 4X4 for the road ahead. Thanks again for the comments.

See.... He KNOWS you're drooling over this rig....
Gas keeps going up... He wants something with better MPG....
And as you say, he's looking at a DAK, which means he probably wants something with better/good MPG.... Work truck maybe?
See, where I'm going with this? :D I'm thinking that, the higher gas goes, the better price you may be able to get.... You just may have to bite your lip and sit on yer thumbs for awhile.... ;)
Then again, I KNOW how it is, to want something so bad, yer back teeth hurt.. :D :D :D

Theres a 89 or 90 out my way for sale.. Pretty Nice too...

I owned and sold that silver truck (well, not that exact one). Wish I still had it. I paid 4k for it (No dents; primo). Sold it for the same.
