Hello I am putting on a edelbrock 600 carb on my truck . The fuel inlet on the carb is 3/8" and the fuel line coming off the fuel pump is 5/16". What would be the best way of adapting the fuel pump line to the carb inlet . Can i use some brass fittings . Thanks

this will be a dumb question but will the 5/16 line flow enough fuel:
if so, you can cobble up an adaptor with brass fittings

5/16 should flow fine. You could probably stretch 5/16 hose onto the 3/8 inlet or use 3/8 hose and tighten it over the 5/16 fuel tube.
If you want a more professional look check to see if Edelbrock makes a 5/16 inlet barb or use an Edelbrock fuel pump and appropriate fittings... They have 3/8 npt theads so you could even use AN hose and fittings for a professional look.
