Dodge Mirage

Hello -

I need some help with an older Dodge car. I have the opportunity to buy a 1981 Dodge Mirage. From the description of the car only 12,000 were made.

Can anyone give me any information on this car? Is there something wrong with car that only 12K were made? The car is in great condition, but I would like to know if it's worth buying because of parts etc.

Are you sure it is a Mirage and not a Mirada. These cars were a mid-sized luxury car about the same size as a Monte Carlo. 4 front square headlights. They were the sister car to the Chrysler Cordoba. I had a friend that had one and he loved it. I drove it several times and liked it too. They are very nice cars. But you don't see many of them around. It might be kind of hard to find parts for - but would definitely be a nice car to have.
