I saw some of the Intrepid police cars in Indianna over the summer. They're sweet looking. I would love to see those cars pulling over some Mustangs and Camaros.

We have one here in town. Its pretty sweet looking. The light bar on top is all L.E.D. lights and it is only about three inches off the roof.

Auburn Hills, MI Police Department has been using them for years. Their police station is down the street rougly 1-2 miles from DC Headquarters. I've lived in MI since 1995 and they have always had them and Jeep Cherokee's. I even got to check out the back seat one night! A little cramped! lol

The police in Troy, Mi have 4 or 5 unmarked cars. All are a different color but they are all Cameros!!! They even have a few Rams too!!!!!! I have seen more people pulled over by their Rams and Cameros that their regular cars!!

I think the Intrepid makes for a pretty sharp looking police car.

My father has a 2000 Chrysler Concorde and that thing gets up and goes pretty well for being a big car so I am sure the Intrepid with the Police package is a nice cruiser for the nations finest.

It looks cool except the push bars on the front with the two lights mounted right above it.

Must be something about the northeast but all the law enforcement departments around here that are getting away from the crown vic are going to the Impala....damn chevys...:stk:

Our PD is broke, we have 3 cars all together, 2 marked( no overheads) 95' model crown vic's and a 99' crown vic, marked with overheads. There advertiseing now in the local paper they need help buying new cruisers, the city has little or no money to buy new ones, there talking about getting local bussiness's to sponcer the cars and they'll put ads on the cars, WONT THAT LOOK REAL NICE, they have applyed for 5 through the home land sucurity bill, but we'll see, the cheif said he'd be happy with atleast 2 cars. So would I, all the cities surrounding us always have new stuff, new cruisers, fire trucks. etc etc.....maybe they'll get some intrepids, that would be cool.

yeah fat chance catching my rem in an intrepid...... without motorolla that is. I think they would do better with rams.... more room and slap a tonneau cover on them and you can haul alomst anything

I really hate to say it, but I think the crown vics are some of the best looking police cars out there, they just look mean to me. The GSP (georgia state patrol) has some and they are definately menacing. The intrepids dont look too bad, just not my cup of tea.
