94 B250 Console Lights stay on

Upon finding my battery dead overnight but that my battery was still good, I found when darkness fell that all of the console lights were on. Those low by each of the front doors and the one above the very back rear doors. I jiggled all switches to no avail and finally had to pull the #2 yellow fuse. All went dead including the radio. I'm not sure where to begin in tracing the problem.

You did try turning the headlight switch?

One of the door switches could be shorted out. You'll have to remove the driver/passenger kick panels to get behind there to unplug the wire going to each switch.

Thanks, and yes, I did try the headlight switch and it works fine on the headlights but when turned right or left, does not affect the console lights. I'll try your suggestion.
