I'm a newbie with an '89 B250, 5.9 TBI. Have been reading this forum trying to fix, you guys have been very helpful so far, but still no start. Have fuel, no spark, just cranks. Replaced coil but then found no voltage at coil, so I don't think I had it before. No symptoms before, parked one day, three days later, no start. Coil is well grounded, have good batt voltage. Have learned here to check crank sensor but unsure where it is. Just behind dist, screwed into bell housing for my year? Also, bogs down under load, like climbing a hill. Top speed on flats is only around 55 mph. Changed fuel filter (old one was backwards) but no improvement. Ideas? Thanks guys.

No crank sensor on your van. This didn't come into play until 1992 with the Magnum engines.

There is a pick-up module inside the distributor that could be causing this. AKA Hall Effect sensor.

Thanx Dodgevanman, but I realized this afternoon that I don't have fuel either; I thought I did at first but this was fuel (on my spark plug) I had dumped in the throttle body to try and start it. Do I have a module that controls both fuel (pump, delivery, etc.) and my ignition coil? My pickup in the distributor does look very corroded/worn; I will change this.
Also, after trying to crank it again this afternoon, I now have no response at all from my ignition switch. No clicks, no instrument lights, nothing. It did this once, I turned ig switch all the way off, it tried to crank and then it stopped altogether. Batt connections all good, no problems with voltqage or cranking amps. Thanx.

Ah..there is what is called an ASD Realy (Auto Shutdown Relay) located on the firewall. Power to the fuel pump, ignition, and injectors is provided via this relay and they do go bad from time to time.

Coming off the positive battery cable are a couple of "fusible links" that could have burned through. These links basically protect the electrical system.
