hey i got my engine running great. However when i took it out for a test drive i noticed that the tranny starts to jitter when about three seconds after i put it in reverse or any forward gears and am at a stop. It seems to go away when i start moving but the engine runs alot rougher and backfires and almost stalls. It is a 77 360 engine in a 74 truck and i can't find a tag or anything on the tranny to i.d. it. it is four wheel drive and has a 205 transfer case. THE automatic tranny fluid is only a couple of months old. I never noticed the tranny doing this before this last time i had it out. I had driven it into the garage a week before and i didn't notice it. Any help would be great.
P.S. it acts sort of like a manual with oil on the clutch that causes it to slip, catch, slip, catch.......
