The Street Van was dropped after 1980 (as were the Sportsman and Tradesman badging). 1981 vans were given the generic RAM moniker.

Check out the emblem on this van. It's color similar to the old Street Van emblems. I have never seen a RAM VAN emblem before, just RAM150, RAM250, etc.

Looooong before the Ram pickup guys had their Big Horn edition, the vans had it. I never knew that until today and again I have never seen a Big Horn van. To say it is rare is an understatement.

Huh. I've never seen those before either. Are those pictures out of a brochure? I.E. is the paint job on the first one a factory paint scheme? Its a little bold by today's standards, but I bet it fit right in back in the day!

I've seen at least one Dodge advertisment in a magazine from the 70's with a flashy custom paint job, and if you read the fine print at the bottom it said that some custom work was added.

This is out of a dealer brochure, so it's legit.

According to the brochure the RAM VAN came with a customizing kit so the customer could do the van up the way they wanted, just like the Street Vans previously.
