was driving down highway the other day when van just died. lost power to everything except power windows, locks and headlights flashers . when turn key there is no power to gauges radio etc. ignition switch bad? no power to fuse box that contains nonworking accessories have power to plug that goes into ignition switch but lead and ground wire either got loose or hot cause it burned plug but not switch.

1992 b250 with 318 i got some power to radio wipers turn signals today by playin with switch and fixin some loose wires. but cant turn key all the way or i lose power. radio works until i turn on rear fan then it goes out. checked one relay its good havent checked other one but i hear them both click when i turn on ignition still have nothing on gauges.

it was a fusible link wire was hiding behind big bundle. man i love my stubborness i was one day away from takin it to the shop. how stupid would i have felt after paying the mechanic and him tellin me it only took five minutes to fix

Is everything okay now? I read your PM to me and it sounded like you still had problems.
Electrical problems are hard to diagnose when your physically working on the vehicle let alone on a discussion forum. I hate electrical problems.
