It is with great sadness that I post that Brett passed away last night with Brenda at his side. Brett was one of the founding fathers of RoadHouse Vans Ontario. I trucked with him for many many years to The Nationals and regional eVants. Brett is the one in the red shorts. This picture was taken in Kentucky on our way to The 1984 Nationals in Mississippi.

I was reading about that on vannin.com too. Dang shame. Was that his sweet red Econoline in the first pic?

No, that was SideShow Bobs van. Brett had a mid 70's short box Chev with gull wings. He ended up with a Chev Astro Panel van, Red, in about 86 or 87 and I believe he still had it when he died.
Bretts Chev is the one with the headlights on behind the blue Dodge. I believe this was taken heading to the 1985 Nats in Missouri.

Ahhh, sorry, Ram3500Dually, that pic is from Van Fest Last year. I found it at the official VanFest website. It was just a reference pic. for me.

I doubt I will be going to funeral, as I'm completely broke, and have to save every gallon of gas, and every penny I have.

Oh I see Carl. Nice van indeed. Who's 2nd gen. Econoline is that? That is awesome!

That was Rick Andersons from Battlefield Custom Vans. It caught fire in the Windsor/Detroit tunnel coming home from MOVES van show at Strohs Brewery in Detroit and he just made it out of the tube before it burned to the ground. I believe that was about 1986.
