I have an '01 Grand Caravan, and if possible, I would like to upgrade to the power sliding driver's side (already have passenger side), and upgrade the overhead console to show odo, mileage, etc...(already have compas and temp). Is this possible, and what would it take to add these?

wow, to add power sliders to the vans would be very complex, IMO nearly impossible
This power sliding door system is a complex system consisting of many components. Some of these components are the door motor, latch assembly, sliding door control module, lower drive unit, flex drive assembly, wire harness and track, lower drive unit track and rack assembly, full open switch, B-pillar switch, overhead console switch, key fob switches, pawl switch, ratchet switch and child lockout and handle switches.
Each door also has its own control module
If you have access to all the parts and wiring involved by all means I guess you could do it
Chrysler doesnt provide a 'kit' that you can purchase that includes everything you need, you would have to get all the parts yourself and the wiring harnesses if they are all available
if you need any specific parts or wiring information let me know I can get it for you
that is, of course, if you decide to give it a go
