Hello All,

I'm about to replace the front pads on my wifes 2001 Caravan Sport grocery getter. We're at 51K miles..and factory pads are about done. I'm trying to prepare for the job and wanted to know if anyone recently did this..and remembers the hex size for the caliper bolts. Been several years since I last did brakes.

After brakes...it's on to sway brace bushing. I'm a bit confused on this...is the common cause of front end rattling from the sway bar bushings, or sway bar links?

Haven't been under the vehicle yet to shake parts.

Any suggestions appreciated!

Thanks in advance, Ken (Stenosis)

If I remember, the caliper bolts are either 12 or 13mm. Yes, stabilzer bushings and sway bar end links cause 99% of the noise problems on these vans. If you want to start with the least expensive, try the bushings first. They're only about $10/set. If that doesn't fix it, you can move on to the links.
