I have to assume you were one of the unlucky ones that got to have the 3/36000 for the powertrain and its not on warranty . It's also one of the reasons I will buy another Chrysler until they up their warranties to at least 7/70000 or to 100000 like GM . That does bite though . From model year 2001 on up they have been no more prone to failure than any other makers trannies . Yours is the first I have heard about recently that has that few miles on it . From 2001 on they have been pretty reliable if you take care of them with 35000 fluid changes ...

i had the dealer ship do maintenance on the tranny at 32,000 ..............
yet, they were VERY rude to my wife and me on the phone when i asked about warranties .............
i am learning to REALLY hate dealershipps ........................

I would go after the zone manager and see what they will do for you , there is no reason for a tranny to go at 50000 miles specially if you have the paperwork saying you had the fluid changed at 32000 miles . They have info in your owners manual on how to pursue retribution if you are not getting any satisfaction from the dealer .
