I JUST installed a CAI on my 05 Caravan. Been fooling around with my Dakota and came up with this. Bought a short filter from Advance auto and then sent a email to a few ebay sellers asking if they would send me the kit minus the filter for the 05 Dakota. One taker took 8 $ off the ebay price and sent me the parts needed. took approx 1/2 hr to take the stock airbox out and the CAI in. WHAT A DIFFERENCE. My wife took the van out today for work and the MPG went from 21 to 25. best 30$ I spent in a while. and the sound is allot better. I enjoy driving it a little more (always liked it, has everything I want)

here is the seller that I sent a email to and they dropped some $$$ for not including the cone filter (already had one)
I installed mine yesterday, today I went for a long ride on freeways, highways, country roads it works good and it sounds good I didn't think the sound would change much but I really can tell a difference

If u drive it at between 55 and 70mph without floring it, you will also see the difference in gas millage, I went from 20mpg to 25mpg on my van with 97 octane fuel the highest we have in Canada. Next step in to install an Aero Exhaust http://www.aeroexhaust.com/aero_turbine_xl_2525xl.html. The tech rep told me that it will sound amazing and even more power. Ciao guys

lately the van was about 14 mpg and yesterday on my ride it went up to 17.9 mpg..
but it might get better when I take it in for service just hit 30,000 miles.. its shocks some people that I have 30,000 miles on a 2002 and I got mine used it had 18,000 miles when I got the van.
I'm thinking of getting new exhaust soon too I just don't want it to sound like an import or a big ass truck..
