I own a 98 Grand Caravan SE.
Just recently, I have SOMETIMES been experiencing misc. electrical problems when starting up the vehicle. I thought it may be a faulty igition switch, but its not always the same problem.
EXAMPLE: (when it happens, only one of the following will occure)
1. clock and power windows won't work
2. ABS light stays lit.
3. heater blower won't come on/ or takes 1/2 minute before it turns on.
4. Dash lights fail to light.
As I said before, this does not happen all the time, but when one of the above does happen, shutting off the engine, and re-starting will correct the issue. I have no problems with anything going out while the vehicle is running, and it has never failed to start. However, it has happened when I shut it off for a few minutes, then restart the van (even when the van has been running for over an hour).
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thankyou. Rob Evans
(NOTE: The van does not have any type of climate control which would modulate the heater blower speed, and when the clock on the radio fails to light, the radio still works.) I hope I am not being too confusing.
