Ive got about 4,000 miles on my xterrains and love them. Ive played in the mud, havent made it to the sand dunes yet. Little noisy on the road, but not to bad.

i've thought about buying those new procomp xterrain tires. but i'm more leaning to the goodyear mt/r's. my only problem with procomp is...how can they be experts at tires, suspensions, shocks, air filtration systems, and lights, ect.???????????

ok, i'm now thinking of getting those procomp tires instead of the goodyears...price being a major factor...goodyear 305's are about $197 each. 4wheel and offroad has a buy 3 get 1 free sale on procomps, which makes getting 4 for about $560. what a deal!

how well are those xterrain tires holding up mileage wise? i thought the procomp mud terrains looked like they would last longer.

i've had them for about 6000 miles and they still look brand new, so there doing real good

I love my x-terrians. I am on my second set. Only got about 30,000 out of them and I religiously rotate every oil change (3,000). Before the x-terrians, I had the BFG MT and got 49,000 miles.The X-terrians pull harder off road.

i've got 14,000 on my xterrains now. i'm guessing i'll need new tires by 22,000 miles. very very soft compound, but they sure walk over rocks and do great in mud. i do abuse them pretty good too.

which is better in your opinions??????? procomp x-terrains, or the mickey thompson claws? i love my swampers, dont get me wrong, but they are not too good on the highway. anything between 45-60mph, and it is a rough ride, after 60 they even out and ride smooth. so i am looking for a GOOD mud tire that wont rattle my doors off at mid speeds.

I can only speak about the x-terrains and BFG MT's. The x-terrians run very smooth and are realitivly quiet. They are great in the mud and the sand. These are very similiar to the claws.
