1995 neon battery temp sonsor prblems. i have a 95 neon great car only paid $100.00 for it. now i get a cod 44 which states that the battery temp. sensor is malfunctioning. would that explain why my car dies out every now and then while it is idle, and would that also explain why i cant run too many things at once because if i do it will die due to loss of voltage

try a new alternator or battery! id go for battery first since its the cheaper of the 2!

Replace the battery temp sensor and have your chargeing system tested at your local autoparts store. The sensor may fix your problem but if not Autozone or Advanced auto will test your battery and the alt for nothing. Thats the way I would go about it. Good Luck

If there's no auto parts store close and you have a voltmeter you could check your battery at home or swap out your battery for one that you know holds a good charge and see what happens.

i got a quick question about your 3rd brake light since it is clear do you have a reb bulb in there or a chrome one that illuminates red? i cant seem to fine the i belive its a 914 in chrome/red
