4111179 is the EGR Time Delay controller
4111878 is the Ignition Module

Those are timers for some of the emissions control devices.
wait a min that 7 just became a two i just looked up real close at it and it reads 4111828 been annoying that after you start it a few times battery quits on this egr time delay im assuming that all it does is control when the egr valve open and closes?you just mentioned it was emission stuff and i wondered if i still needed it since all my stuff has been removed smog pump converters etc btw where do you go to look up part numbers like that id like to pick up a book or cd?

You don't need them if all the smog stuff is gone. Some of those control different types of emissions parts like the egr, most are timers with one being 30 seconds and the other 90 seconds..it all depends on where the truck was ordered from as to what emissions controls were installed.
Check Ebay for factory parts books. I have truck parts books from 69-2000+
You can also sometimes check the part# at the online dealers like www.makeitmopar.com
Check out your charging system for the battery problem.
