1. If you have a electric fan what did you get it out of and how well does it work?
2.What spark plugs does everyone run?
Thanks OTR

The electric fan was a great modification on my truck. It is definately somethign that will improve mileage slightly (noticeable, but you'll be sticking your foot in it more) because the truck revs so much easier without the fan on there. plus your engine will warm up faster. Do any of the searches by me for Viper electric fan, and you'll find what you need. fairly cheap to do also.

I usually run what ever is on sale.. (Except Champions) ;)
Autolites or AC.. And I just run 'regular' plugs... No dual-fire titianium thermo-nuclear wizz-bangs or anyhting like that..

I've always run NGKs. but i havent been driving for too long.. thats what my dad has always had good luck with also, so i just kinda kept with them. i dont think there is really much of a difference though, as long as you dont ignore them.

I've just never gotten any sort of 'longevity' out of them... Can't tell you why exactly, but I've never been happy with them, anywhere from a 1200cc engine, all the way up to a 440... :dunno:

Heh heh heh... Here's the funny thing, Joel...
Back in the 70's when NGK first came out with 'automotive' plugs, they were absolute junk. They ran GREAT in motorcycle engines, (For whatever reason) but so far as a V-8... Garbage. (We used to joke about NGK standing for 'No Good Kind'.. ;) Back when I was behind a counter selling parts, I almost refused to sell them.
Nowdays? They're pretty damn good plugs...
But things seem to go around and around...
Back in the day, Fram filters were THE filter, if you wanted quality..
Now? You couldn't pay me to use a Fram filter.
Personally, I think it is the Japanese, becoming extremely 'quality conscious' (And the results show) While we're shipping off the 'MADE in USA' to Mexico, China, Tiwan, India, whatever....

I use to run champion plugs in my past mopars never had a problem. So if you run AC\Delco plugs I might check out the the RapidFires which I always had good luck with.

I've found nothing that runs better or longer than Champions. They are original equipment on most Mopars, even when the plug is branded Mopar, and I can't see any manufacturer installing an inferior product in their new vehicles.

I run what the service manual calls for and that gets me from point A to point B every time.:)
