Is my pcm bad?

96 Neon died, wont start. Turns over like a champ. Started running down what could be wrong. I have no spark and no fuel (pump is not even coming on). I could see replacing fuel pump but I have no spark either. I thought I would see what trouble codes are set but the check engine light doesn't ever come on. Not even when you first turn the ignition on. Checked about every wiring connection allready. Is there a history of bad pcm's? I thought I would get a temporary one from a junk yard, but all the neons had them pulled out.

Sounds like it may be bad. I don't recall there ever being a problem with PCm's going out but theres always a chance! You can buy an after market one for a few hundred bucks or look on E-bay for one under 100$. Mopar Performance makes them for manual trans but not Auto's. AFX makes them also and they also make an Auto pcm too. AFX is kinda high in price. And for reliability Id stick with Mopar tuned computers.Good Luck!
