timing chain

My wife and i just purchased an intrepid for her with the 2.7 litre motor. I inquired at thdealers service desk when the timing belt is normally chained and he tells me its a chain and there is no service schedule for it and had no knowledge of any breaking. Have the intrepid owners reading this replaced their chain or lan to do so?

The usual timing for replacing the timing chain is usually around 60K miles according to most manuals.
