:help: Anyone know as to what is the cause to my rear passenger floorboards are soaking wet after a hard rain? I checked my speaker box for any sign of dampness and I found it to be dry. So the only other culprit I can think of is the taillights. The plastic edges around the lights sit about a half inch to an inch above the inside of the truck lid where water normally travels. It has to be this since I stuck a towel in the spare tire well, I found the towel to be wet as well. Any way to remedy this ? By the way all my windows are rolled up as well.

You can take out your tail lights and use some silicone at the points where the body and the lights meet! Good luck and yes it's more than likely the tail lights.

I had an issue with dampness in the spare tire well but i think most of that is "sweating". I have an issue with water on the drivers side floor when the car is on an angle drivers side up. I cleaned out the window track but have only had snow so I cant test my work. The water would pool on the door seal in between the door and frame. Might get the dealership to check before the warranty runs out. The inlaws had water problems in their trunk on an 03 neon and 06 sebring. Both those times turned out to be the trunk seal itself.
