Ok, it rained and my wipers crapped out............
No problem, went to auto zone and bought a generic package of bushings that had only two I could use. Pulled the wiper arms out popped the two new ones through. Took me a while to get them seated on the posts correctly only to have the motor arm bind on the rod when I tested it out.
Popped the arm off bushing flew out and went down the fender hole. So
Question#1 Does the curved end of the arm attach to the motor or the straight end.?
Question#2 Is there somewhere that I can get a handful of bushings as
opposed to two in a generic package that costs $5.00?
And lastly is there a better fix available to bypass the bushing setup?
Thanks
Ron

Oh, trust me, I've been through that living hell before....

See pic attached.... Hope it helps...

I'm sure the Dodge dealer has tons of them...

After several attempts to replace that @&!!&@%! plastic clip on my rig...
(I'd like to have 5 minutes alone with the knot-head who came up with that design...) .... Just to have it work for a week and then pop off again...
I finally ended up pulling the wiper motor out and drilled an 1/8" hole on the shaft where that plastic clip should snap onto. I bought a little plastic bushing at the hardware store and cut it down so it fit the shaft and took up the 'slop' where the crank arm fits on it. I put it all back together, slipped a real thin spring washer over the shaft and stuck a cotter pin through it. Problem solved going on 3 years now... ;)

Thanks Bherder,
Sorry for the late reply I've been in Arkansas this last week. I did manage to pick up a complete utiline bed while here.
I liked your wiper fix solution that may be the way to go. Thanks again

Yeah the dealer has them, both the normal ones and the ones w/ the hole through them. And they aren't expensive, they're like 3-4 buck for a pack of 2 I think.
