My interior lights, power door locks, power side mirror and sunvisor vanity lights do not work all of a sudden. Is there a relay that controls all of these and if so, where is it located? I have 12v at the fuses and the fuses are good.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Joe

IF there's a relay it's probably under the hood in a marked box like apparatus...I read that you checked the fuse, is the fuse corroded at the terminals, etc? My 97 caravan lost its gauges and I pulled the fuse out, cleaned the ends off and they worked after that... If that's not it check the lights individually to see if there is power going to them. Depending on that perhaps there are fusible links in the wiring harness that one or more was lost. Sounds like a fuse/relay problem though...
hope this helps

Jedi,

Thank you for your reply. Here is the deal, the power locks have their own fuse. I check the contacts, voltage (both ends). I don't know if the interior lights, power mirrors etc are fused since the owners manual doesn't indicate that they do. Dealers says it may be a the Power Control Module (PCM) but I would think that I would have much more serious problems if that was the case. However, I'm not even sure there is a relay. Chiltons and Haynes books don't provide enough detail as well on the relays.

Thanks,

Joe

We have had the same type of issues with our old 88 GC. The wire insulation that Chrysler used to go between the body and the door was extremely brittle and I've been forever splicing and soldering things back together. That could explain everything but the sunvisor light.
