i have a 1995 sohc 5 speed
ok this is what happend the main wire on my alternator hit my axel it was sparking so i toook the battery wires off fixed the wire on the alternator hooked my battery up and went to start my car and it would not go.. i checked all my fuses and relays all good....i have the codes 44 22 24 23 and when i turn my key on the fuel pump does not kick in.. \so i tryed 2 computers and the last computer i put in it the car started for 2 secs then shut off and then the pump will not kick in again.. and someone told me that these cars have a asd in them and i was wondering if that would have anything to do with this and if it was its own relay and if so where it was or if it was in the computer thanks

CODE 22** Coolant sensor voltage to high or to low.Test coolant temp sensor.
CODE 24** Throttle position sensor voltage to high or low.Test the tps.
CODE 23** Indicates that the air temp sensor input is below the minimum acceptable voltage or sensor input is above the acceptable voltage.
CODE 44 Battery temperature sensor volts malfunction.Problem with the battery temperature voltage circuit in the pcm.

This is what the codes mean. It sounds like you may have blown up a few sensors when the power wire made contact with the block. Also It sounds like you may have also blown the fuel pump or a relay. If you turn the car on (not start) you should hear the fuel pump kick on. If not it's fried....Good Luck
