OK, so my 2000 Dodge Neon makes a slight clicking type noise when I turn right. It almost sounds like a rattle. However, if you drive slower it is more of a click.
The dealer said he believed it was a CV joint, and some other people I talked to said the same thing.
So, I decided it probably was a CV joint, given all the input. I then replaced both axle assemblies and both ball joints. Probably a good decision since the right ball joint was bad.
However, replacing these parts did not help. The noise is still there.
One of my buddies said it could be a wheel hub, but I doubt it. Another suggested it could be something in the transmission.
I doubt it is the transmission since it only happens when turning right.
Any thoughts??? Help please!
