Nope..."easiest" is from below, with the van jacked. That is dependant on arm length, hand size, and extensions available. The front one is the bear and some peeps think easiest is to remove the alternator bracket and move the alt out of the way. I've never done it that way, so can't comment. It's an hour job with lots of cursing.

I did mine from up top

I move the alternator out of the way

from up top or down below it is still a PITA job

i was gonna put it up on ramps cuz it seemes klike i could get to
at least two of them from underneath
i had heard the rumor that way but never tried
vehicle has 160k on it and the fronts looked like stubs :)
