I have a 3.9 1999 Ram 1500 Mark III conversion van it has 65k miles and ran great all summer, it was and is currently for sale, but I had to pull it because it just has started to have issues ( hate when that happens ) I don’t know if they are all related to one electrical wiring harness or not.
First issue that started was the Emergency Break light would flicker, now it stays on.....
Second issue was the abs light flickers and sometimes stays on for the day....
Third issue the air bag light flickers, or stays on for the day .....
Fourth and most important issue, the Speedo has stopped working completely....... this happened one late night, cold, damp, and just POOF no more.
And finally Now, recently, at least we noticed once the Speedo stopped working if you have to slam on the breaks, it will stall, OR going around a corner a little bit faster than maybe what you should it stalls, not fun to say the least.
It seems as the temp went down up here in the north east, the problems started to happen, in june when I bought the van ( summer toy ) everything was fine.
