Does anyone know the amp output on the OEM alternator that was standard for a 1992 3.9L V6 Tradesman?

thanks

According to Autozone's website, there are 3 alternators available. A 75 amp, a 90 amp, and a 120 amp. I would imagine a van that is not equipped with a bunch of electrical goodies (ie, power locks, power windows, etc.) used the 75 or 90 amp alternators.

The equipment label under the hood may tell you what alt. you have.

Stay with 90Amp or higher. I've ran into problems with a 1996 Dodge Caravan with a 65amp alternator rebuilt. When I switched it for 90Amp, everything worked great!

So, for the ran vans, I would keep the same principle too.
