My 2000 Neon keeps blowing the fuel pump fuse as soon as I turn the key. Fuel pump is good because I disconnected it and tried it again and it did the same thing with the fuel pump not connected. Relay is good, bought a new one. Any one know what this could be??
Please help.

I can almost guarantee there is a short nin the wiring somewhere between the relay and the fuel pump

Mine kept blowin the fuse when the filter needed to be changed. I guess the lack of flow made the pump work harder to keep 49psi on the line and would over load the circuit.
