I noticed a thread for a persons van door not opening properly and have the exact opposite problem. I have a 79 B200 and the rear part of the sliding door isn't latching completely. Any suggestions, specs or ideas?
Thanks!

I'll scan the factory service manual's chapter on making adjustments to the door. This may be all you need to do. I'll do it this evening when I get home.

That's from the factory manual. I've seen a few '79 manuals on Ebay from time to time. You oughta pick one up.

Yeah, I'll second that. Factory manuals aren't cheap from the dealer, but if you can find a deal on a used one - Ebay or whatever - you won't regret it. Once you've seen a factory manual, all of the others don't even come close. IMHO, anyway. :)

You're both right, and I'll look on ebay tonight... I have a Chilton's that came with the van, but it's about as useless as a fart in an airconditioner. :) Thanks guys!!!
