:) Hi, Im new here and I am a Dodge Van Ram 250 custome owner it is my first Dodge so everything is new to me, my question is where is the thermostat located on this 3.9 L engine I think it is where the upper radiater hose connects to the eng., my son-inlaw just installed the water pump and it looks like we have a leak where the hose connects to the eng., since it is hard to get to I am wanting to replace the thermostat & gasket and hose before putting everything back together.

That is where the thermostat is. Also replace the bypass hose while you're doing this. The small crooked one. :gr_patrio
