Hey everyone newbie to the forum. Looks like a great forum with lots of great people.
Recently purchased 2003 Ram ST reg cab 4x4 4.7L 5speed manual, 3.92 gears and LSD Black clear coat.
I am begging to look into upgrading tires from the puny 245/70/17 Michelins.
I have searched but, I am getting mixed information.
I realize the 265/70/17's are an option, as well as the 275/70/17's as part of the offroad package.
So is 275/70/17's the biggest that will fit(using stock rims) without rubbing at stock height( do not wont to lose downtravel from cranking the torsion bars)
Do BF Goodrich AT's 285/70/17's fit at stock height with out rubbing on compression and turning? Are they really close to the upper arm and spindle maybe to close?
Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
