It was probably cheaper than you would believe.....We bought a ford F150 in `74, I-6 w/ 3 sp,,,,,radio, heater, basic model,,,,,,,$ 2,700........

In 1974 I bought a new Ramcharger with every option except a radio and it was just over $7000.00. My 87 D 100 with am/fm radio,power brakes and steering was $11,000.. :gr_patrio
