Hello
I just bought some new headman headers for my truck. I was wondering if i should use the gaskets that came with them or should i replace them with better ones (if there is better ones?). The instruction paper said that i should only use the gaskets that came with the headers . Thanks again

I've heard people having good luck with the copper gaskets. I've never used them personally as I don't go the header route.

The most important thing is to make sure the flange area of the header where it mounts to the head is nice and flat. Check it with a straight edge.

This is the truth , make sure you have a flat mounting surface on the header, And i have used the copper gaskets and are better then the ones they send you. If you can, leave the outer studs in the heads, they are water jackets and you will loose your antifeeze from the engine, And you will have less worrys about sealing the bolts that come with the headers...
