I know it sounds idiot but I accidently did it when I was sleepy in the morning. I topped off the brake fluid with steering fluid when it was on ADD level. it's probably about a half a coke can. Is it going to be okay until I get a brake service? or could it screw anything up because the possible volume difference.

Get your brake fluid flushed as soon as possible. Read a mechanics advice here: trustmymechanic*com/reservoir.html

Any oil based product in the brake system will cause every rubber part to swell and turn to goo. Most brake fluids are Glycol based. I work in an oil analysis lab and we get about one of these samples a month, some guy at a lube shop tops off the Brake reservoir with power steering fluid Yes get it out ASAP
